Hello? Is anybody out there? A man jumped from the building I work in last week. He didn’t die instantly, but he died eventually. Fuck that! If I’m jumping, I’m doing it from the top of the Hancock or something. Leave nothing to chance. If I ever become an invalid please just pull the plug. Ever see the clip of the guy who jumped from the edge of space? Not the one guy who did it for redbull, but the guy who did it in like the 60’s. Joseph Kittinger. That would be me if I chose to do something like that. Get something beautiful to see on the way down. Something to regret.

RNC attendees tried to hide a demonstrator’s “No racism, No hate” sign with an American flag. Clearly they failed to see the irony. The protester was from the Code Pink group — who haven’t been slowed down by this at all.

Using an American flag to cover up someone calling for an end to racism and hate is the best metaphor I’ve seen in a long time for the GOP.
